Scrufty does not seem to have any problems after her dental surgery. She seems perkier than before the surgery. Her sense of smell must have been impaired by the infection. Now she is smelling everything! Please keep praying for her infection to remain gone - I do not take her to the vet again for another week.I am so grateful to contributors for her vet bill. Only $250. remains unpaid to date. People have been so generous as to donate on my site through PayPal (to the right)
What Scrufty needs most now is prayers. Many of you know how cats can hide pain. The photo above is one of her before the surgery. She definitely was not very energetic then.
I thought some of you might be interested in the post on my blog about how
we started tending to this abandoned/feral colony.

So glad to hear about Scrufty's continued improvement! It makes our hearts happy that she's doing so well!
That's wonderful news! We'll keep up the prayers for Scrufty!
We are so glad Scrufty is doing better, makes our whiskers grin!
YAY, we are sooooooooo happy that Scrufty is still doing well, and we will continue to pray that she stays well. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
That is so great that Scrufty is doing better and that the vet bills are being taken care of! We are hoping that we have some money left after one of our own gets a tooth cleaning on Friday to donate a bit for you - we have seen a lot of kitties with tooth issues around lately and hope to be able to give everyone a bit (we just hope it won't cost too much for Kirzons!)
