And we have lost two of our homeless kitties. (I'll mention the other one in another post.)
Samantha has not been around to feed since 1.23.2010. She was a totally consistent regular. And my neighbor who also provides shelter for some of our cat community has not seen her, either. When she disappeared, it was right around the time of two snow storms here in this part of Arizona. So I believe she must have been taken by a coyote. Alas, we have coyotes coming into built-up neighborhoods when we get snow and ice.
Of course, Samantha was friendly to humans. So maybe someone coaxed them into their home. I would like to think a kind person might have done this.
In the photo here, she is the tortie with the missing eye. And Bootsie, her buddie in the photo, was looking so lost without her the first week or so she was gone.

This is so sad that Sunny and Samantha are missing, we really hope that they both turn up safe and sound! We will be purring hard for them both.
