Bootsy has been gone for five days now. He has never been away from our back yard for more than a few hours over his 7 year life. So we feel certain he has gone off to die.
We still have several left in the feral colony - plus five indoor only domesticated ones. So we have plenty of love wrapped-in-fur to keep us engaged in supporting the living.
Thank you for your prayers!!!

Bootsy, receive my love and my hugs!
I am very sorry that Bootsy hasn't returned. I keep purring that he will.
Oh Debra I know the pain of a missing feral kitty. It is so disheartening to worry about their fate. Our Buddy left us that way one December...I hope Bootsie is safe in the arms of an angel. Your soul is kind and I loved learning more about your flock...

We are sorry to hear about Bootsie.
If his time has come, we purr it will be quick and he will not suffer.
Comforting purrs to you as you will miss him.
Purrs also for the good works you do for feral kitties!

We are so sorry to read about Bootsie. While we know it won't help with the pain of losing a loved one, remember because of you, he was well taken care of. So many ferals don't have even minimal care and we hope you can find some comfort in knowing he had a good life thanks to you. While you could never have the kind of relationship with him that you have with a house cat, he knew he was loved and he loved you in return. Sending our condolences and purrs to you.
We are so sorry to hear this about Bootsy. Please know we send our heartfelt purrs and prayers.
So sorry to hear that Bootsie is missing. Have you asked around your neighborhood to see if anyone has seen him? Purrs <3
Fly high Bootsie. You were well loved in your colony and will be missed. But you won't have to worry about pain or anything else pal. Hugs for the humans.
By the way, I do have a few friends in my neighborhood. They have not seen Bootsy in the last several days.
I wish animals didn't feel the need to be alone to die, but it's a part of their nature. They don't understand that we want to be with them as much as possible, and to comfort them at the end.
We were hoping for some news . . .
