Midnight (2 photos with bushy mane under his chin) has begun frightening his sister away at meal times. His sister, Grizzly, did not used to be so timid. Sometimes, Midnight actually chases her away, running toward her. I know this is the way things work in the homeless cat world at times. Nevertheless, it is difficult to watch. Even when I try to give Midnight something really tasty, hoping to keep him busy so I can get a dish to Grizzly, he tries to take her bowl. I just wish she would stand her ground a bit more often. Fortunately, she does not seem to be getting any thinner. She just comes in after all the others have eaten and are gone from the scene.
BTW, I named her Grizzly since, when she was a kitten, she looked just like a grizzly bear. That was before I knew she was a female. She is far from being a grizzly character!
