These three (from top to bottom) Scrufty, Angelina Stripe, and Panther, all started out as foster cats. We already had two indoor cats. But we have not been able to place them, so they have found a forever home with us.
They all stay in a really large room in the back of our house. We built a cat run behind this room so they could get out safely for some fresh air. Sometimes they get on each others' nerves and have a few spats. But mostly they get along.
Stripe seems to be the one who instigates hissy fits the most. So I have been talking to her about her doing more to get along with the other two .. that essentially they are like her sisters, so why not try to get along better. I have heard that talking to a pet can get a message through to them on an unconscious level, even if they don't understand the words. Do any of you readers know anything about animal communication?
