Bootsie loves to rub up against the cat run. He's feral. The ladies he is flirting with are all domesticated. It's amazing how all the feral males do this even though they are neutered. The feral ladies just sit and look in at the inside kitties.
Bootsie seems so lost since his last companion disappeared (probably taken by a coyote) a little over a year ago. He used to play, nuzzle and cavort with her. I believe that if she had not been taken, they would have been partners for life.

My outside kitty had a life partner that stopped coming as often when we started taking her in during the freezing weather. We would have taken him in, too, but there was no getting close to him. He disappeared a couple of weeks before she did
Awww, maybe he'll find another cat to bond with. We hope so!
It is very sad when they lose a close companion and they feel grief the same as we do.
