Liddy has not come for food since 8.2.2017. She has been an everyday visitor without any absence for quite some time. She is the last of the abandoned and feral cat colony we began helping in 2007.
Like so many others, she was trap-wise. We had a drop-trap made which allowed us to trap and have her spayed.
We estimated that she was 12 or 13 this year.
I am very sad to realize that chances are this tortie is not coming back.

Goodbye dear lady Liddy. We wish we could have done more for you.

I'm so very sorry. With a large feral group here we know the heartache when the sweeties don't return. Hugs from all of us.

I am sorry that Liddy has not returned.
You did do so much for her. You gave her love, food and shelter which she would not otherwise have known. Without you her life would likely have been very short.
I can imagine easily how it is when they don't return. Broken hearts. You do so much and try so hard to help. And you DO help. But when one is missing you wonder why and worry.
